Sanaullah Zehri, Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal Discuss Strategy for NA-256 By-Election

Quetta: Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Chief of Jhalawan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, held an اہم ملاقات with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and NA-256 by-election candidate Mir Shafiq ur Rehman Mengal in Khallq Jhalawan to discuss electoral strategy.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the political situation following the postponement of the by-election and deliberated on ways to further organize and energize the campaign. Discussions focused on strengthening the party’s organizational structure, boosting worker morale, and enhancing public outreach efforts.

Zehri expressed confidence that the PPP has regained momentum in Balochistan and that the by-election will be held soon as the law and order situation improves. He urged party workers to remain prepared and optimistic, adding that the Election Commission is expected to announce a new polling date shortly.

Both leaders termed the changing public sentiment in Jhalawan as encouraging and emphasized the need for complete coordination in implementing the future political strategy. Several PPP leaders and local representatives also attended the meeting.
