Grand Tribal Jirga Led by Lashkari Raisani Resolves Dispute Between Ziaullah Lango and Hashim Mehterzai

Quetta: A grand tribal jirga led by Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani has successfully resolved the dispute between Mir Ziaullah Lango and Malik Hashim Mehterzai, bringing an end to tensions that had arisen over social media exchanges.
The jirga, held at Sarawan House, heard both sides in detail and reviewed all evidence before reaching a consensus. The conflict had started about a month ago due to offensive and inappropriate language used online, which jirga members stated was against the values of Baloch and Pashtun society.
In its decision, the jirga emphasized that disrespecting women and using abusive language are unacceptable and will be treated as punishable acts in the future. Both parties agreed to reconcile, put aside their differences, and maintain cordial relations moving forward.
As a gesture of goodwill, it was decided that members of both sides, along with tribal elders, will visit each other in the traditional “Meedh” to strengthen brotherhood and harmony. The jirga further ruled that any violation of the agreement in the future would be considered a national offense.
The decision, finalized after mutual consultation under the leadership of Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani, was unanimously accepted and signed by all participants.
