UAE Air Defense Intercepts 5 Iranian Ballistic Missiles, 35 Drones

Islamabad (April 1, 2026): The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully intercepted five ballistic missiles and 35 drones launched by Iran today.

According to the Ministry, since the start of the ongoing conflict, UAE defenses have now destroyed a total of 438 Iranian missiles and shot down 2,012 drones.
