Political Stir in Khuzdar By-Election: Nawab Sanaullah Zehri Urges Voters to Reject 40 Years of Neglect

Khuzdar, Balochistan: Former Balochistan Chief Minister and Jhalawan Chief, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, energized the NA-256 by-election campaign with a fiery address at a large public gathering in Khuzdar’s Khalq Jhalawan area. Zehri announced that he has been tasked by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari to ensure the victory of the PPP candidate, Mir Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal.

Quoting a Hadith, Zehri told the crowd, “A believer is not bitten from the same hole twice,” urging the people of Khuzdar to break from the tradition of being ignored for the past 40 years and vote wisely for their future.

Criticizing his opponents, the former CM highlighted that a single political class has dominated the National Assembly seat for decades, yet Khuzdar’s people have received no major development projects. Zehri contrasted this with his tenure, citing initiatives like Skander University and Jhalawan Medical College, which he said created educational opportunities and local employment, marking significant progress for the district.

The speech has added momentum to the PPP’s campaign as voters prepare for the critical by-election in NA-256.
