Baseless Cases by Elements Frightened of Political Performance Fail; Abdul Khaliq Hazara’s Acquittal Is a Moral and Political Victory: Hazara Democratic Party

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — In a central statement by the Hazara Democratic Party, the honourable acquittal of former provincial minister and party chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara in a case by an anti-corruption court has been termed a moral and political victory for the party. The statement said that over the past five years, certain elements continuously attempted to mislead the public through negative propaganda and baseless allegations against the party leadership; however, according to the party, the public rejected these efforts and voted for the party’s nominated candidates in the 2024 elections on the basis of performance.

The Hazara Democratic Party statement further alleged that elements frightened by the party’s political performance attempted to influence the election results and tried to remove the party leadership and workers from the democratic political struggle by filing cases against them. The statement said that previously too, efforts were made through cases against the party leadership and workers to make them abandon the struggle for the rights of the citizens of Quetta; however, the leadership and workers remained steadfast and continued the legal and political struggle.

Congratulating the leadership and workers on Abdul Khaliq Hazara’s acquittal in the case, the party said that the democratic and political struggle for the rights of the citizens of Quetta will continue.
