Senator Bernie Sanders and Ilhan Omar Criticize Trump Over Iran Conflict, Call It Illegal and Deceptive

Washington: Senior leaders of the Democratic Party have strongly condemned the ongoing U.S. actions against Iran Minnesota, prominent Senator Bernie Sanders sharply criticized President Donald Trump, saying that one individual has taken the nation’s law into his own hands and is dragging the world into a serious crisis. Sanders remarked that no previous U.S. leader has so blatantly misused power as is being seen today.
Drawing parallels to the Iraq War, Sanders stated that the American public is being deceived in the same way it was in the past, with lies used to justify military action. He emphasized that there is no place for monarchy in America and that citizens deserve rule of law, not unchecked power.
Meanwhile, prominent Democratic leader Ilhan Omar strongly condemned recent bombings in Iran, highlighting that a school attack killed innocent students, calling it a humanitarian atrocity. Omar also questioned Trump’s electoral strategy, suggesting that his reliance on war is motivated by an inability to win elections transparently, contrasting sharply with his campaign promises of opposing conflict.
These remarks have intensified debate in U.S. politics, with Democratic leaders making it clear that they will not recognize the current military actions against Iran as legitimate.
