YouTuber Rajab Butt Responds to Zulqarnain Sikandar and Kanwal Aftab, Controversy Escalates

Lahore: The ongoing feud between popular Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt and fellow content creator Zulqarnain Sikandar has intensified, with both sides publicly exchanging accusations.

The dispute began after Zulqarnain Sikandar released a detailed video criticizing Rajab Butt, claiming that he and Kanwal Aftab played a key role in finding sponsors for Rajab Butt’s wedding. Zulqarnain also shared audio recordings as evidence, alleging hypocrisy on Rajab Butt’s part and accusing Kanwal Aftab—whom he once called his sister—of inappropriate language.

In response, Rajab Butt took a firm stance, stating that he had expected a direct conversation rather than escalating the matter through a vlog. He defended himself, saying, “If I called Kanwal ‘Aunty,’ there is nothing wrong with it, as I am also an uncle myself. Kanwal should not have used harsh words against me or played the ‘woman card.’” He added that he intends to confront this controversy head-on and has no plans to back down.

The online community has been divided over the dispute, with some users criticizing both parties for airing personal matters publicly. One comment read, “You didn’t mind when your friend spoke about your wife, but you got furious when called ‘dishonorable.’” Another said, “You’ve brought your family matters onto social media and made a spectacle.” Some even humorously labeled Rajab Butt’s family as a “trouble family.”
