Educational Institutions in Punjab to Remain Closed Until March 31

Lahore: Following Balochistan, the Punjab government has also announced the closure of educational institutions across the province until March 31.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated that the decision was taken in view of the ongoing regional security situation and the petroleum crisis. However, examinations will be conducted as per schedule, while schools and colleges may continue academic activities through online classes.

Meanwhile, the Sindh cabinet has also approved the closure of schools until March 31 as part of energy conservation measures. Authorities clarified that despite the تعطیلات, examinations will take place on their scheduled dates.
