Rana Sanaullah Assures MQM-P Concerns Over Funds Will Be Addressed

Lahore: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Rana Sanaullah, has assured that concerns raised by Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) regarding development funds will be resolved.

In his statement, Sanaullah acknowledged MQM-P’s reservations over the recent change of the governor, saying that while the party has expressed dissatisfaction, there was no prior agreement that the Governor of Sindh would be from MQM-P. He clarified that the position was allocated to PML-N when the coalition government was formed.

He added that MQM-P’s primary demands were related to development funds and mega projects in Karachi, rather than the governorship itself.

Sanaullah further stated that any shortcomings in ongoing mega projects would be addressed in the upcoming budget, ensuring that commitments made to MQM-P are fulfilled.

He emphasized the government’s intent to maintain cooperation with its coalition partners and resolve outstanding issues through dialogue.
