CM Sarfraz Bugti Highlights Balochistan’s Role in National Stability on Pakistan Day

Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that March 23 holds a golden place in Pakistan’s history, reminding the nation of the عظیم sacrifices made for the creation of an independent homeland.

In his message on Pakistan Day, he stated that the Lahore Resolution laid the foundation for a separate state for Muslims of the subcontinent, which materialized under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The chief minister emphasized that the day serves as a reminder to follow the guiding principles of unity, faith, and discipline, urging citizens to rise above personal interests and work collectively for national development and prosperity.

He highlighted that the brave people of Balochistan have always played a frontline role in safeguarding Pakistan’s integrity and stability, adding that the province’s development is, in fact, the development of the entire country.

Bugti reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to public welfare, sustainable peace, and the enforcement of the state’s writ, stating that all available resources will be utilized to achieve these goals.

He also stressed national unity against terrorism and extremism, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces and other security institutions, and vowed that their sacrifices would not go in vain.

Reiterating the resolve to protect Pakistan’s geographical and ideological boundaries, he described youth as a valuable national asset and called for equipping them with modern education and skills to ensure a brighter future.

The chief minister added that efforts are underway in Balochistan to address public grievances through merit, transparency, and good governance. He concluded by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Movement and urged the nation to prioritize collective interests over personal gains, praying for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in Pakistan.
