“Nighban Ramadan” Package Sets Public Service Record, Says CM Maryam Nawaz

Lahore: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed gratitude via social media for the successful completion of public service initiatives under the Nighban Ramadan Package 2026 during Ramadan.

Maryam Nawaz said the package set a historic record in serving the public, ensuring that no one was left alone during the festive period. She thanked Allah for the success of the initiative, which delivered financial assistance directly to people’s doorsteps with dignity and respect. Around 450,000 families—approximately 2.5 million individuals—benefited from the program.

Under the “Tell Maryam” initiative, 45,000 families received PKR 10,000 each. Additionally, over 4 million fasting individuals broke their fast at 422 Nighban dining arrangements across the province.

The Chief Minister highlighted that province-wide price control campaigns during Ramadan yielded positive results, keeping essential commodities at stable prices. Furthermore, more than 550,000 citizens shopped daily at 75 Ramadan bazaars.

She also noted that minority communities received over PKR 157,000 through the Minority Card program, reflecting an important example of interfaith harmony.
