US Suffers Major Blow in Iran Tensions: 16 Aircraft Destroyed, Including Drones and Warplanes

Washington: According to a report by Bloomberg, ongoing tensions with Iran have resulted in the destruction of 16 American military aircraft.

The report states that the destroyed aircraft include 10 Reaper strike drones, while six manned US warplanes sustained severe damage but were not counted among the 16 destroyed aircraft.

Of the affected aircraft, three US warplanes were reportedly downed over Kuwait, allegedly due to friendly fire incidents.

The report also mentions the destruction of a KC-135 tanker aircraft during a refueling operation, resulting in the deaths of six crew members. Additionally, five other KC-135 tankers stationed at a Saudi Arabian airbase suffered heavy damage following an Iranian missile attack.

Furthermore, Iran has reportedly destroyed nine US unmanned Reaper drones, including one targeted by a ballistic missile over Jordan.

This development marks a significant escalation in military tensions between the two nations, raising concerns over regional stability and US operational capabilities in the Middle East.
