Islamabad Traffic Police to Get New Uniforms, Electric SUVs for Modernization
Islamabad: Authorities have decided to upgrade the traffic management system in Islamabad by introducing new uniforms for the Islamabad Traffic Police along with the induction of modern electric vehicles.
According to sources, the new uniforms will feature black and grey colors and will be introduced in two phases. In the first phase, office staff will receive the updated uniforms, followed by field personnel in the second phase.
In addition to the uniform change, the traffic police will be equipped with a fleet of modern electric SUVs. Around a dozen vehicles, fitted with advanced technology, are being added to improve traffic management and operational efficiency.
Reports suggest that these electric vehicles, manufactured by a Chinese company, will be deployed on major roads across Islamabad during the Eid period to ensure smooth traffic flow and provide better travel facilities to citizens.
