New Oil and Gas Reserves Discovered in Ghotki, Mari Energies Announces

Ghotki: Mari Energies has announced the discovery of new oil and gas reserves in Ghotki, marking a positive development for the country’s energy sector.

According to company sources, the new find is expected to initially produce approximately 47.9 million cubic feet of gas per day. In addition, the discovery is estimated to yield around 64 barrels of crude oil daily.

The reserves were discovered at the Shams-1 well, where drilling operations reached a depth of 3,075 meters.

Mari Energies has formally informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange about the development, in line with regulatory requirements.

The discovery is expected to contribute to strengthening Pakistan’s domestic energy supply and reducing reliance on imports.
