France Will Not Join Any Operation to Reopen Strait of Hormuz, Says Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that France will not participate in any military operation aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing regional tensions.
Speaking on the issue, Macron emphasized that France is not a party to the current conflict and will refrain from joining any such operation while tensions persist. He reiterated that Paris does not intend to engage in actions that could escalate the situation further.
However, the French president noted that France is working on preparations for a potential international framework or alliance that could help ensure freedom of navigation in the region once tensions subside.
The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical global shipping route, and developments surrounding its security continue to draw international attention as geopolitical uncertainties persist.
