Over 5,600 Pakistanis Return from Iran Through Coordinated Government Effort, CM Balochistan Praises Chagai and Gwadar Authorities

Quetta: Mir Sarfraz Bugti has described the large-scale return of Pakistani citizens from Iran as the result of a well-coordinated and organized government effort.

In a post on X, he stated that from February 28 until last night, a total of 5,615 Pakistani citizens safely returned to Pakistan via the Gwadar and Chagai routes. Additionally, 2,117 Iranian drivers and 431 other foreign nationals also entered Pakistan from Iran during this period.

CM Bugti praised the district administrations of Gwadar and Chagai for their timely and effective performance, ensuring that returning passengers received accommodation, food, and other essential facilities, while their safe transfer was fully guaranteed.

He emphasized that the Balochistan government is fully active at border crossing points to ensure the convenience, safety, and comfort of travelers, with all relevant departments working in coordination to fulfill their responsibilities efficiently.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to effectively managing border affairs, providing public facilities, and safeguarding the welfare of all passengers by utilizing all available resources.
