National Peace Message Committee Declares Friday as “Pakistan Message Day” to Promote Peace and Unity

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily / Peshawar):**
The **National Peace Message Committee** announced that **Friday will be observed as “Pakistan Message Day”** to promote national harmony, peace, and unity. The announcement was made during a **press conference at the Governor House in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, where the committee presented a **unified religious stance against terrorism**.

The committee highlighted that **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the province most affected by terrorism** and will be prioritized for the committee’s awareness and peace-promoting activities. **Coordinator Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi** emphasized that scholars from all schools of thought have unanimously declared **terrorism un-Islamic**. He described the **“Message of Pakistan”** as the strongest document of national consensus after the Constitution, ensuring peace, unity, and harmony in the country.

The committee stressed that terrorism has **no link to Islam**, and the killing of innocent people is strictly forbidden. Religious leaders termed Islam as a **religion of peace and love**, and called the fight against discord and unrest the **“greater jihad” (Jihad-e-Akbar)**.

During the press conference, speakers expressed **full solidarity with the State of Pakistan and its national institutions**, especially the **Armed Forces**, calling them protectors of Islam and peace. **Mufti Abdul Rahim** stated that supporting enemies is worse than the actions of the Khawarij, and struggling against such forces is a righteous cause.

The committee noted that most terrorist incidents are **linked to cross-border elements** and urged Afghanistan to take **effective measures to ensure peace in Pakistan**. It also pledged to conduct awareness visits wherever peace promotion is needed.

By declaring Friday as **“Pakistan Message Day”**, the National Peace Message Committee reaffirmed its commitment to promoting **peace, unity, and national harmony**, and vowed to continue playing a key role in establishing **sustainable peace in the country**.
