Jemima Khan Appeals to Prime Minister to Allow Sons to Meet Imran Khan

Lahore: Jemima Khan, former wife of Imran Khan and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to allow her sons to meet their father.
In a message posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Jemima Khan stated that her sons, Sulaiman Khan and Qasim Khan, applied for visas in January to travel to Pakistan and meet their father.
She added that, according to the Pakistani consulate, online visa processing normally takes 7 to 10 working days. However, it has been 60 days since the application was submitted, and the visas have not yet been issued.
Jemima Khan also mentioned that Minister of Defence Khawaja Asif had promised that her sons would be allowed to meet Imran Khan, but this has not been implemented.
She further stated that Sulaiman and Qasim have not been allowed to speak to their father by phone or send letters since the 2022 assassination attempt against him.
Jemima Khan made a direct appeal to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, requesting that her sons be permitted to meet their father as soon as possible, especially given reports that their health is deteriorating.
