Gold, Silver Prices Decline Sharply in Pakistan’s Local Markets

Gold and silver prices witnessed a significant انخفاض in Pakistan’s local bullion markets on Monday, with gold per tola dropping by more than Rs1,500.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,800 per tola, bringing it down to Rs522,762. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,543 to settle at Rs448,184. These rates are expected to remain effective until midday today.

Silver prices also followed a downward trend in the local market. The price of silver per tola declined by Rs100 to Rs8,441, while the rate for 10 grams dropped by Rs86 to Rs7,236.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices also recorded a decrease, with the per ounce rate falling by $18 to reach $5,000.

The decline in precious metal prices reflects broader trends in the global market, influencing domestic rates accordingly.
