Gold Moves Further Out of Reach as Prices Rise Again

Karachi: Gold prices continued their upward trend in both international and local markets on Wednesday, moving the precious metal further out of the reach of the general public.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $13 per ounce to reach $4,338.
Following the global increase, gold prices in the domestic market also recorded a sharp rise. The price of one tola of gold increased by Rs1,300 to reach Rs456,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs1,115, reaching Rs391,085.
The continued surge in gold prices has raised concerns among consumers and traders, as the precious metal becomes increasingly unaffordable for ordinary buyers.
