Pakistan Air Force Retires Alouette III Helicopters, Introduces Modern Airbus H125 Fleet

Islamabad: The Pakistan Air Force has officially retired its Aérospatiale SA 316 and SA 319 Alouette III helicopters after decades of reliable service, replacing them with modern Airbus H125 helicopters.

The new H125 fleet is expected to significantly enhance the Air Force’s capabilities in search and rescue operations as well as other utility missions.

Officials said this move marks a major step toward modernizing the PAF helicopter fleet, improving operational efficiency, safety, and performance in both peacetime and emergency scenarios.

The introduction of the H125 helicopters reflects Pakistan Air Force’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a technologically advanced and highly capable aerial support structure.
