Man Allegedly Kills Wife and Five Children with Axe in Sargodha
Sargodha — A man allegedly killed his wife and five children with an axe in the suburban area of Bhagtanwala, police officials said.
According to initial reports, the suspect reportedly suspected the character of his daughter. Acting on this suspicion, he allegedly attacked his family with an axe, killing **his wife, four sons, and one daughter**.
Police said that after carrying out the attack, the suspect **injured himself** and was later shifted to a hospital in **critical condition**.
Authorities added that the suspect is currently **severely injured**, and he will be questioned once his condition improves.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims have been **sent to the hospital for post-mortem examination**. Police confirmed that the ages of the deceased children were **between one and 16 years**.
