Pakistan Army Foils Cross-Border Infiltration Attempt from Afghanistan — 25 Terrorists Killed, 5 Soldiers Martyred

*Islamabad (Qudrat News)* — Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted a major cross-border infiltration attempt by **Khawarij militants** from Afghanistan into **North Waziristan**, killing **25 terrorists**, including **four suicide bombers**, in intense clashes. However, **five soldiers of the Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom** during the operation, according to a statement issued by the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)**.

The ISPR reported that **two major groups of militants** attempted to infiltrate Pakistan’s border areas of **Ghaki, Kurram**, and **Spinwam, North Waziristan**, between **October 24 and 25**. In a swift and effective response, security forces **eliminated 15 terrorists**, including **four suicide attackers**, in Spinwam, and **10 more militants** in Ghaki, Kurram.

A **large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives** was recovered from the slain militants.

During the fierce exchange of fire, **five brave soldiers** of the Pakistan Army were martyred:

* **Havaldar Manzoor Hussain**, 35, resident of District Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan
* **Sepoy Nauman Ilyas Kayani**, 23, from District Poonch, Azad Kashmir
* **Sepoy Muhammad Adil**, 24, from District Kasur, Punjab
* **Sepoy Shah Jahan**, 25, from District Vehari, Punjab
* **Sepoy Ali Asghar**, 25, from District Pakpattan, Punjab

The ISPR condemned the continued infiltration attempts by the **Khawarij terrorists** despite ongoing **Pakistan-Afghanistan peace talks in Türkiye**, stressing that Pakistan has repeatedly urged the **Afghan interim government** to ensure effective **border management** and prevent the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

“Pakistan expects the Afghan authorities to honor their commitments under the **Doha Agreement** and prevent such cross-border attacks,” the ISPR stated.

It further reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain **resolute and unwavering** in defending the nation’s frontiers. Under **Vision Azm-e-Istahkam**, comprehensive **sanitization operations** are ongoing to eradicate foreign-backed terrorist elements and ensure lasting peace and stability across the region.
