Two Pedestrians Killed in Oil Tanker Accident in Karachi’s Manghopir Area

Karachi:** Two pedestrians were killed after being crushed by an oil tanker in the **Manghopir** area of **Karachi**, police said.
According to police officials, the accident occurred due to a collision between two oil tankers near **Mianwali Colony**. One oil tanker was parked at the site when another tanker reportedly lost its brakes and rammed into the stationary vehicle.
The impact caused the tanker to run over two passersby, resulting in their deaths. Police said both tanker drivers fled the scene after the incident.
Authorities added that the damaged tankers have not yet been removed from the location because the diesel inside must first be safely offloaded. Police are also trying to trace the owners of the tankers and determine which vehicle was responsible for crushing the victims.
Officials further stated that the families of the deceased have not yet contacted the police. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
