Pakistan Says Security Forces Foil Drone Attacks by Afghan Militants

Security forces in **Pakistan** have foiled drone attacks allegedly launched by militants from **Afghanistan**, according to the military’s media wing.

In a statement, the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)** said that on March 13 several drones were sent towards Pakistan by militants linked to the **Taliban**, but the drones were intercepted and shot down before they could reach their intended targets.

The ISPR said debris from one of the destroyed drones injured two children in **Quetta**, while one person each was injured in **Kohat** and **Rawalpindi**.

The military described the attack as a failed attempt by Afghan militants to spread fear among the public. It added that both the people of Pakistan and the armed forces are aware of the reality of militant groups operating from Afghan territory.

According to the ISPR, Pakistan will continue **Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq** until terrorist elements operating from Afghan soil are eliminated.

The statement further said that terrorism originating from Afghan territory is unacceptable and intolerable, and Pakistan’s armed forces will continue to fight terrorism in all its forms with determination.
