MVP Cheques Distributed to 13 Startups at University of Balochistan Business Incubation Center

Quetta: A ceremony to distribute Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development cheques to startups was held at the Business Incubation Center (BIC) of University of Balochistan.
The event, organized by the university’s Business Incubation Center, recognized 13 startups from the first incubation cohort and provided them with MVP development cheques to support their entrepreneurial projects.
The ceremony’s chief guest was Zahoor Ahmed Bazai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan, who distributed the cheques among emerging startups.
Addressing the event, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial skills and innovation among youth. He said universities should not remain limited to academic activities but must also promote business thinking, creativity, and practical skills among students.
He encouraged young entrepreneurs to utilize their abilities to create new business opportunities so they can become self-reliant and contribute to the country’s economic growth. He also advised students to work with dedication and determination to transform their startup ideas into successful ventures.
Praising the efforts of the Business Incubation Center, the Vice Chancellor noted that the platform is playing an important role in helping young innovators turn their business ideas into practical and sustainable enterprises.
Director of the Business Incubation Center, Furqan ul Haq Siddiqui, highlighted the progress of the incubation program and the first cohort of startups. He said the startups have gone through various stages of training, mentorship, and business development support.
The MVP support will help the startups further refine their products and services, enabling them to establish successful businesses and create employment opportunities in the future.
The event was attended by Kaneez Fatima, Director IMS, Muhammad Sadiq, along with university students and startup representatives.
