Saudi Arabia Will Take All Necessary Measures to Protect National Security, Says Mohammed bin Salman

Jeddah: Mohammed bin Salman has stated that Saudi Arabia reserves the right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its national security, sovereignty, and vital installations.
The statement came during an important virtual meeting of the Saudi cabinet chaired by the Crown Prince amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
According to Saudi media, the cabinet praised the performance of the kingdom’s air defense system, noting that it successfully thwarted recent attempts to target oil facilities and other key locations during attacks.
The cabinet strongly condemned alleged attacks by Iran against Saudi Arabia, Gulf states, and other Arab countries. It stated that targeting civilian sites and energy infrastructure constitutes a clear violation of international law.
The Saudi cabinet also welcomed the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union as a positive development. Additionally, it praised resolutions adopted during the meeting of Arab League foreign ministers condemning Iranian aggression.
Saudi leadership emphasized that despite rising regional tensions, the kingdom will continue efforts to maintain peace and stability while taking all necessary steps to ensure its security.
