OGRA Dismisses Reports of LPG Price Increase as Baseless

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has rejected circulating reports about an increase in LPG prices, calling them baseless and misleading.
In a clarification issued by the regulator’s spokesperson, OGRA stated that LPG prices are officially determined only on the first day of each month. The authority confirmed that no new notification regarding an increase in LPG prices has been issued.
OGRA urged the public and market stakeholders to follow the prices officially set by the regulator. The spokesperson also advised consumers to report any cases of overcharging to the relevant district administration.
The authority added that measures are continuously being taken to protect consumer interests in the LPG market and ensure compliance with the officially notified rates.
