Babar Azam Decides to Take Temporary Break from Cricket on Team Management’s Advice

Lahore: Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has decided to take a temporary break from cricket on the advice of the national team management, according to sources.
Sources said the management suggested that Babar take some rest, which is why he will not participate in the ongoing National T20 Cup. He was also not instructed by the team management to play in the tournament.
Babar has informed his domestic side, Lahore Whites, about his unavailability for the competition.
During the break, the former Pakistan captain has started training in the nets with individual coaches to improve his batting. Reports indicate that he is working on restoring his previous batting technique to regain form.
The preparations are also aimed at the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League, where Babar Azam is expected to open the batting for Peshawar Zalmi.
