Haris Khokhar Criticizes TV Host Fiza Ali Over Remarks About His Marriage

Lahore: A controversy between Pakistani morning show host Fiza Ali and digital influencer Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has resurfaced on social media after the influencer’s husband publicly criticized the TV host in a recent interview.

The issue first gained attention in the early days of Ramadan when Fiza Ali, during her Ramadan transmission, discussed Dr Nabiha Ali Khan’s marital life and mentioned a separation between the couple. The remarks sparked significant debate and criticism across social media platforms.

Following the controversy, Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and her husband Haris Khokhar reportedly reconciled and are now continuing their married life together. However, some social media users accused Fiza Ali of escalating the issue by mentioning the influencer’s husband and his family on television. Others alleged that the discussion may have been intended to increase ratings for the Ramadan transmission.

In a recent TikTok interview, Haris Khokhar strongly criticized Fiza Ali, saying that during Ramadan she had effectively taken on the role of “Satan’s successor.” He added that when private marital matters are brought onto digital or social media platforms, they often become more complicated.

According to Khokhar, many marital disputes escalate when they are turned into public debates. He stated that disagreements between spouses are often matters of personal ego that can be resolved through private communication.

He further emphasized that involving families or social media in such matters tends to complicate rather than resolve conflicts. Khokhar concluded by saying that couples should try to settle their issues privately and that he felt compelled to respond after Fiza Ali mentioned his name on television.
