WhatsApp Tests Major Visual Update to Chat Bubbles in New Beta Version

**WhatsApp** is rolling out an interesting change to its chat windows for the first time in several years. According to **WABetaInfo**, the company is testing new chat bubble designs in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for **Android devices**.
The widely used rectangular chat bubbles will be replaced with more **rounded message bubbles**, while the small “tail” that indicates the sender’s side is being removed. Although seemingly minor, this visual update is expected to significantly change the look and feel of WhatsApp chats.
The new design will make messages appear cleaner and enhance the overall chat thread layout. WhatsApp rarely introduces interface updates, typically keeping the same design for its **billions of users**, which makes even small visual changes highly noticeable.
It is not yet clear when this new interface will be officially rolled out to all users.
