Sindh Government Announces Public Holiday on Jumat-ul-Wida

The government of **Sindh** has announced a public holiday on the occasion of **Jumat-ul-Wida**, the last Friday of Ramadan.

Provincial Local Government Minister **Nasir Hussain Shah** confirmed that the decision was taken by the Sindh government to facilitate religious observances and gatherings on the day.

He also announced that a road in **Karachi** will be named after Iran’s Supreme Leader **Ali Khamenei**. However, he clarified that authorities cannot allow a rally on **Shahrah-e-Faisal**, one of the city’s main thoroughfares. Organizations have instead been asked to hold rallies along their traditional routes.

Meanwhile, processions marking **Youm-e-Ali** are being taken out in cities across the country. In Karachi, several streets and lanes in the **Saddar** area have been closed with containers as part of security arrangements.
