Massive Crackdown Across Balochistan: 718 Criminals Arrested, Large Cache of Weapons and Drugs Seized – IG Police

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – Under the directives of IG Police Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, a province-wide crackdown against criminal elements is underway, targeting drug dealers, fugitives, and those involved in serious crimes.
According to a spokesperson for Balochistan Police, operations were conducted across various districts in seven police ranges, including Quetta, aiming to curb crime and ensure a peaceful environment for citizens.
During the ongoing special campaign, 144 suspects were arrested, while 295 wanted fugitives and 402 declared offenders were taken into custody, totaling 718 individuals involved in various criminal activities.
Police reported that during the operations, they recovered 122 pistols and revolvers, 4 Kalashnikovs, 594 cartridges, and 91 magazines. Additionally, 10 kidnapped individuals were rescued, and 5 stolen vehicles along with 39 motorcycles were recovered.
In operations against drug traffickers, 111 suspects were arrested, with police seizing 743.678 kilograms of hashish, 11.630 kilograms of crystal meth (Ice), and 10.665 kilograms of opium from their possession.
