Pakistan in a State of War, Regular Fighting Ongoing with Afghanistan: Talal Chaudhry

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Federal Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhry, stated that Pakistan is currently in a state of war, with regular fighting taking place along the Afghan border.

Speaking during a National Assembly session, Talal Chaudhry addressed questions regarding police checkpoints in Islamabad, emphasizing that the current security situation is evident to all and necessitates strict measures.

He said that while Afghanistan does not possess modern fighter jets or bombs, they are reportedly using young boys to carry out suicide attacks. In light of this threat, establishing police checkpoints has become essential to protect citizens’ lives and property.

The minister urged the public to cooperate fully with police and law enforcement agencies, taking the prevailing security situation into account.
