CTD Identifies Killed Terrorist in Karachi Clash as BLA Commander Suhail Baloch

Karachi authorities have confirmed that one of the terrorists killed during a clash with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) was a senior commander of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the encounter took place on February 17 in Shah Latif Town, resulting in the deaths of four terrorists and injuries to two police personnel. Among the deceased were militants identified as Jaleel, Niaz, and Hamdan, while the fourth was confirmed as Suhail Baloch, a senior BLA operative.

The spokesperson stated that Suhail Baloch was involved in over 50 killings of security personnel and civilians. He was also the mastermind behind the assassination of DC Panjgur, Zakir Baloch, and had dispatched five suicide bombers for the Jaffar Express attack.

CTD officials said operations are ongoing across Sindh to apprehend associates of the slain militants and dismantle remaining networks connected to Suhail Baloch.
