Wave of Terror in Quetta: CTD Inspector Mitha Khan Martyred in Killi Ismail Firing, CM Orders Investigation

Quetta: A tragic incident of firing in the Killi Ismail area of Quetta claimed the life of former SHO and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Inspector Mitha Khan. The Balochistan government expressed deep grief over the attack and has ordered an immediate investigation.

Shahid Rand, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Political and Media Affairs, offered condolences on the martyrdom of Inspector Mitha Khan. He stated that the perpetrators of the attack would be apprehended swiftly and brought to justice.

Shahid Rand paid tribute to the fallen officer, describing him as a brave and dutiful official who rendered significant services for maintaining peace in the province. He emphasized that this cowardly attack would not weaken the resolve of the people of Balochistan or its law enforcement agencies.

The government assured full support to the bereaved family and prayed for the elevation of the late officer’s status in the hereafter.
