Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Saudi Defense Minister to Discuss Measures Against Iranian Missile Attacks

Riyadh: Field Marshal and Chief of Defence Staff, General (retd.) Syed Asim Munir, met with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, to discuss the security situation arising from Iranian drone and missile attacks.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two leaders exchanged views on measures under a strategic defense agreement to prevent such attacks.
The meeting emphasized that unnecessary aggression poses a threat to regional security and stability, limits the prospects for peaceful negotiations, and exacerbates crises.
Both sides expressed hope that Iran will act with prudence, noting that a cautious approach by Iran could support efforts by friendly nations to resolve crises peacefully. The discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation to enhance regional security and promote friendship, with both countries reaffirming their commitment to deepen bilateral ties.
