Saudi Arabia Says It Reserves Full Right to Respond to Iranian Aggression

Jeddah: Saudi Arabia has stated that it reserves the full right to respond to what it described as Iranian aggression following “cowardly attacks.”

According to Arab media reports, an important cabinet meeting was held Tuesday night under the chairmanship of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman via video link.

During the meeting, the cabinet conducted a detailed review of the current regional situation and its implications for regional and international security and stability.

The Saudi cabinet said the Kingdom retains the full right to respond to Iranian aggression after the recent attacks. The statement came amid heightened tensions in the region.

The meeting also reviewed measures taken to host and facilitate Gulf citizens stranded at Saudi airports.

In addition, the cabinet approved memorandums of understanding between the Nazaha (Saudi Anti-Corruption Authority) and Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to enhance cooperation in the prevention and combating of corruption.
