Court Grants Bail to PTI Founder and Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana Fake Receipts Case

**Islamabad:** An Islamabad district and sessions court has issued a written order granting bail to the founder of PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana fake receipts case.

The written verdict was issued by Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, approving six bail petitions filed by the PTI founder and one by Bushra Bibi.

In its order, the court observed that the prosecution failed to present any evidence against the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi to substantiate allegations of incitement to rebellion. The judgment stated that the prosecution could not prove that the protests were carried out at the direction of the PTI founder, nor could it establish his presence at the scenes of the incidents.

The court further noted that in cases related to the May 9 protests and attempted murder charges, the prosecution was unable to produce credible evidence linking the accused to the alleged offenses.

According to the order, bail was also granted to the PTI founder in a separate case involving allegations of leveling accusations against senior personalities.

The court approved bail against surety bonds of Rs50,000 each for both the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.
