Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan Announces Hajj Flight Schedule, First Departure on April 18

Islamabad: Good news for Pakistani pilgrims as the official Hajj flight schedule has been released, with the first flight from Pakistan set to depart on April 18.
Under the government Hajj scheme, a total of 468 flights will transport 119,076 pilgrims to the holy sites in Saudi Arabia over a 34-day operation.
Sources report that on April 18, the first flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan. On the opening day, four flights will carry pilgrims to Madinah. During the first 15 days, pilgrims will primarily be transported to Madinah, while Hajj flights to Jeddah will commence on May 4. The first long-haul flight to Madinah is scheduled for May 7, and the final Hajj flight from Pakistan will depart on May 21.
Under the official scheme, 67,230 male and 51,846 female pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia. A total of 186 flights are allocated for Madinah and 282 for Jeddah.
Both national and private airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines, Air Blue, Air Sial, and Saudi Airlines, will participate in the operation.
Flights will operate from eight cities across Pakistan. Islamabad will see 129 flights, Karachi 124, Lahore 104, Multan 34, Sialkot 26, Quetta 18, Faisalabad 23, and Sukkur 5.
Officials confirmed that all arrangements have been completed, with special measures in place to ensure pilgrims reach the holy sites safely, comfortably, and on time.
