Veteran Actor Jamal Shah Clarifies Participation with Ex-Wife in Ramadan TV Transmission

Islamabad:** Renowned Pakistani actor and artist Jamal Shah has addressed media speculation regarding his recent appearance alongside his ex-wife and fellow artist Faryal Gohar on a private TV Ramadan transmission.

Jamal Shah, celebrated for his work in painting, sculpture, acting, and singing, began his career at PTV Quetta Center as a singer and composer before moving into acting. His notable dramas include *Naqab-e-Sang*, *Jungle*, *Koh-e-Kan*, *Band Gali*, *Madar*, *Bulleh Shah*, and *Barish Ke Baad*. Fans also praised his performance in the private TV drama *Tere Ishq Ke Naam*.

Recently, Shah appeared on a Ramadan transmission with Nadia Khan and Zohaib Hassan. Speaking on Nida Yasir’s program, he clarified the circumstances surrounding the collaboration with Faryal Gohar.

He explained that he was initially invited to the show and later learned that Faryal Gohar had also been invited. “I thought it would be better to accept so that everything could be clarified at once,” Shah said, adding that their aim was never to create an uncomfortable situation.

Commenting on the perceived awkwardness, Shah said, “It wasn’t strange. We work in the same field and meet often. There’s no reason for embarrassment.” He further noted that he was personally at ease, and his current wife, Amna, had no issue, highlighting her understanding nature and guidance in his life.

Jamal Shah emphasized that appearing together helped address questions, curiosity, and speculation circulating on social media. “Fans’ excitement also settled when they saw us together. Our relationship ended amicably, so there’s no regret,” he added.

Shah’s remarks aim to reassure the public that the professional appearance alongside his ex-wife was handled respectfully and without tension, reflecting a mature and cordial approach to past relationships.
