“We Are Close to Final Victory”: Reza Pahlavi Urges Iranians to Prepare for Renewed Protests

Washington: Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s former Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, has called on the Iranian people to prepare to return to the streets, saying the time to resume protests is near.

According to Iranian media reports, Pahlavi’s video message surfaced following recent US and Israeli strikes on Iran. In his address to the nation, he said, “We are very close to final victory. I want to be among you as soon as possible so that together we can reclaim Iran and rebuild it.”

He urged citizens to remain at home for now, stay calm, and prepare themselves for the moment when clear instructions would be issued to restart protests.

Pahlavi also appealed to members of the military, police, and security forces to separate themselves from the religious leadership and to become part of a stable and secure transition process.
