Islamabad High Court Suspends Recount Order in PB-21 Hub Case

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has suspended the order for recounting votes at 39 polling stations in the PB-21 Hub constituency, granting interim relief to candidate Muhammad صالح Bhutani.

Justice Inam Amin Minhas heard the petition filed by Saleh Bhutani and issued a stay order, temporarily halting the recount process. The court also issued notices to all parties concerned and sought their responses within two weeks.

The next hearing has been scheduled after Eid-ul-Fitr.

The relief was granted in response to Bhutani’s petition challenging the decision of the Election Commission. Following the court’s order, the recounting process has been suspended until further proceedings.
