Emerging Actress Aina Asif Reveals Age and Talks About Challenging Roles
Lahore: Aina Asif, one of Pakistan’s rising young actresses, recently opened up about her age and acting career during an interview on a private channel’s Ramadan transmission. Known for her consistent hit dramas and strong fan following, Aina has impressed audiences with her versatile performances.
Responding to a question by host Faisal Qureshi, Aina revealed, “I am still very young; it will take about nine more months for my national identity card to be issued.”
She also addressed criticism regarding the roles she chooses, saying, “People tell me to play roles according to my age, but when others my age play age-appropriate roles, they are told they look older. I have proven through my work that I can handle challenging roles.”
On social media, some fans speculate that Aina is around 21 or 22 years old, while others express concern that if she is under 18, her acting work could fall under child labor regulations, a matter they believe should be addressed promptly.
