Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran Announces Legal Action Over Mastung’s Inclusion in Quetta, Denies Social Media Rumors

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) – **Provincial Minister Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran has declared that he will approach the courts against the government’s decision to remove Mastung from Kalat Division and include it in Quetta, following the issuance of the notification to name the new division Koh Suleiman Division.**

Khetran emphasized that **Mastung has always historically been part of Kalat Division**, and while he supports the creation of new divisions, the current method and naming are incorrect. He urged the Chief Minister to reconsider the decision.

Addressing circulating social media reports attributed to him, Khetran clarified that these rumors are **baseless and fabricated**. He stated that he is not opposed to the formation of new divisions in general; his objection is specifically regarding the **name of the proposed division**.

Additionally, Khetran reiterated his longstanding opposition to land allocations in Barkhan district, asserting that **he will not allow even an inch of his land to be handed over to anyone in the future**.
