Re-Polling in PB-36 Quetta Scheduled for March 10, Says Provincial Election Commissioner
**Quetta:** According to a notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan, re-polling will be conducted at seven polling stations in the PB-36 Quetta constituency of the Balochistan Assembly on March 10, 2026.
On the occasion, Provincial Election Commissioner Ali Asghar Siyal administered the oath to Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Munir Ahmed Durrani, as the District Returning Officer (DRO).
The provincial election commissioner stated that all arrangements are being finalized to ensure the re-polling is conducted in a transparent, impartial, and fair manner. He added that the Election Commission is taking comprehensive measures regarding the training of officers posted in Quetta, timely provision of election materials, and other administrative and security preparations.
He further emphasized that, with the cooperation of the district administration, police, and relevant departments, citizens will be able to exercise their voting rights in a free, transparent, and peaceful environment.
