Brazilian Footballer Kathlen Souza Converts to Islam, Performs Umrah and Shares Video

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Brazilian football star Kathlen Souza has embraced Islam and performed Umrah, sharing the spiritual experience with her followers.

Souza, who represents Saudi Arabia’s women’s team Al-Nassr, expressed her joy, saying she is striving to find the right path in life and become her best self. Al-Nassr shared a video on social media, stating: “We share this special moment with you as Kathlen Souza embraced Islam. May Allah grant her stability and fill her heart with peace and contentment.”

In her Instagram post, Souza wrote: “Small steps, seeking the right path, trying to change, and gratitude for life’s blessings.”


Kathlen began her football career in Brazil as a child, playing briefly for Santos FC’s youth team. She later studied and played football at the University of Louisville and the University of Central Florida in the United States.


She has been part of Al-Nassr for the past two years in Saudi Arabia, and her experiences with Islamic values inspired her decision to convert to Islam.
