Nearly 70 Terrorists Killed in Afghanistan Operations: Talal Chaudhry

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry stated that nearly 70 terrorists have been killed so far in Pakistan’s retaliatory operations against militants in Afghanistan.

Speaking on Geo News’ program *Geo Pakistan*, Talal Chaudhry said Pakistan is a responsible state that has always sought good relations with its neighbors. He noted that terrorism has long been exported from Afghanistan, prompting Pakistan to take all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of its citizens.

Chaudhry added that around 70,000 intelligence-based operations have been conducted inside Pakistan, resulting in the arrest of various individuals and the elimination of multiple terrorists.

He explained that the operations in Afghanistan targeted seven locations across three different provinces, and initial reports indicate nearly 70 terrorists were killed. Many of those eliminated were confirmed by Pakistani intelligence.

Chaudhry criticized the Afghan interim government for failing to fulfill its obligations under the Doha Agreement, which had promised that Afghan soil would not be used for terrorism. Pakistan’s Information Ministry stated that recent suicide attacks in Islamabad, Bajaur, and Bannu were carried out by terrorists based in Afghanistan, including Pakistan Taliban, Fatah-ul-Khawarij, and their allies, under the guidance of leadership present in Afghanistan.
