Registration for Itikaf Opens at Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia
Makkah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has announced the start of registration for Itikaf at Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi during the last ten days of Ramadan.
According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, the facility for Itikaf registration has been made available through the Presidency’s official website. Men and women wishing to observe Itikaf have been advised to create an account on the website or log in through their existing accounts to complete the registration process.
Reports state that Itikaf at Masjid al-Haram and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi will begin on the 20th of Ramadan and continue until the end of the month, concluding upon the sighting of the Shawwal moon.
The Presidency has clarified that the number of participants is limited. Therefore, applicants are urged to complete their registration promptly, as the process will close once the designated quota is filled.
Every year, during the last ten days of Ramadan, a large number of worshippers from within the Kingdom and abroad express their desire to observe Itikaf at the Two Holy Mosques, making early registration essential.
