Pir Muhammad Shah Reappointed as DIG Traffic Karachi

Karachi: Senior police officer Pir Muhammad Shah has been reappointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Traffic Karachi, just a month after being removed from the position.

A formal notification has been issued confirming the appointment of Pir Muhammad Shah, a Grade-20 officer, as DIG Traffic Karachi.

According to the official statement, the additional charge of DIG Traffic Karachi previously held by Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh has been withdrawn.

It is worth recalling that last month, Pir Muhammad Shah was removed from his post and Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh was assigned the role of DIG Traffic Karachi. With the latest development, Pir Muhammad Shah has now resumed his responsibilities in the position.
